Hey guys, im a newb here so please dont flame me! I have a 2000 Lincoln LS Automatic V8. Yesterday I took my daughter to school, went to leave and the car would not start. All i got was a clicking noise, my first guess is the starter. I recently bought a new battery in the past 3-4 months and it had been running fine. we towed it back to my garage and still just a clicking noise. I dont know much about cars and how they work but want to learn, being 2 weeks before christmas taking it to a shop and paying a lot of money isnt an option. does it sound like a starter problem? also where exactly is the starter located? Thanks for any help, trying to get this fixed as cheap and as soon as possible.

Yessir.. It takes some work to get it out through the suspension though..
