The car will not switch from defrost to feet or anything else. Also keep changing the belt car still has a squeak.

Sounds like a blend door or motor problem, which isn't that common on these cars like it is on other Lincolns. You could try a self-test on the HVAC unit -- a quick Google should find the instructions.
If the new belt is squeaking it might be something else making the noise. The usual culprit is an idler pulley. It's all a big PITA to reach on these cars!
