On my 1996 MK VIII Keyless Entry Keypad, I have programed it to work and upon locking the doors with the Remote and then later wanting to unlock by using the Keyless Entry Keypad on the door, will not work. Then I will relock the car with my remote and then the Keypad works. Why does the Keypad loose its functions after a while. I should say why does the Keypad loose its memory?
