I just picked up 18" wheels, I have 1 question for those of you that have 18's or knowledge as to what size tire would be better, 245/40 18 or 245/45 18????

I am able to get 245/40 18 just wonder if profile too low, esp. without the car lowered at this point

nice wheels, whered you get them, how much did they cost? I've heard people say you will be fine with the 45 unless you're lowered then you have to go 40

Nice wheels. If you plan to lower your LS I'd recommend going with the 245/40 size. I had the 245/45-18 size tires on my LS and with it being lowered I had rubbing issues. Once the 245/40's went on rubbing was all but gone.

Cool deal guys, thanks for the info. I got the wheels local off of Craigslist, the guy was not sure of the offset and stuff so I had to try them on my car before I bought them. All he could tell me is he bought them for his 300ZX and they did not fit, but they fit his friends 95 Thunderbird, so at least that gave me an Idea of the bolt pattern. I tried one on the front of my car and they fit well, have room to not hit spindle and they do not stick out of fender.

He got them cheap. I saw the ad for 'em not long after he emailed me telling me he picked them up.

Nice score, Nick!! Can't wait to see 'em on the car!!

Those look really good! They remind me of the G35 coupe sport 19's. IMHO you will probably need to paint your calipers even if you go with black.

Yea, I agree, I will probably paint them black, baby steps, baby steps :) Probably lower the car, and tint windows, and get the LSE rear spoiler(if any are left when I have the money).

Here are better pictures
