06 LS Crankcase Vent Tube Part

Hello all,

Cracked the crankcase vent tube while changing the valve cover gaskets on my 06 LS.
Any idea what's the difference between these two parts? They look exactly the same, and the 03-05 one (bought locally at a dealer for $15) seems to fit just fine...

- 03-05 : 3W4Z-9K617-AA
- 06 : 6W4Z-9K617-AA

The 06 version has a 6W4Z instead of 3W4Z prefix, and costs a LOT more ($150 at the dealer, ~$80 online).

Probably no real difference. I've seen that with other parts between my 04 and my 06.

Broke mine doing the VC too. I'm going to run my 03 without the beauty trim panel to maybe allow more heat to escape off the top of the engine. Can't hurt, right?
