P.S. I dont know if I'm just dumb or something, but you said you have a Mercon V and you plan on getting a shift kit, isn't a Mercon V a shift kit?

What do you get for mpg with the 4:30 rear gears ?? I'm wondering what it is the City,,, and the highway on a trip ?? or do you just use it for the races ? Also what do you get for a top speed with the 4:30 gears ??

On the highway with 4.30s, it would get around 21 mpg. It hardly is on the road anymore without some track action since the new engine so now I wouldn't have a clue.
