The Lincoln Town Car WILL LIVE AFTER 2007!!!

For announced today "Way Forward 2.0", its new plan to deal with their current crisis. There is a buch of changes included in this new plan, but the one I care about is that after the 2007 model year, LTC production will be moved from Wixom to the St. Thomas, Ontario plant. Here is the link with...

2007 Town Car will be the last Town Car

Even if the LTC production was moved to mexico, it would still be way better than having no LTC at all, and I am pretty sure FoMoCo would make a lot more money on them that way.

    Car trouble...Alternator?

I am glad it was not the ECM. Now you need to work the Cruise Control repeatedly to verify its proper operation. A couple of roadtrips would help you with that :)

Can you guys explain why (in your opinion) Lincoln Town Cars are mechanically superior to the Cadillac DeVille? What makes the TC a better buy or value when compared to a contemporary DeVille? Thanks!! FGS

    Car trouble...Alternator?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the symptoms you descrbe are consistent with ECM failure. Either that or you have a heck of an electrical gremlin. I think that if it was any part of the traction control/abs system, you would simply get a warning light on the dash, not get a full dash...

Buyng a used LTC or CDV. Need your advice.

Well, I was thinking to get a 98+ car. I like the more modern looks of that generation, plus I am trying to get a car as new as possible in an effort to ensure at least a few years of trouble free (or as much as possible) ownership. And talking about the air springs, how many miles do they...

Buyng a used LTC or CDV. Need your advice.

Hello, guys. I am doing some research on large luxury sedans, namely the Lincoln Town Car and The Cadillac DeVille. I need to know basics about each model, such as general reliability, known trouble spots and general driving impressions. As of now, I am leaning towards the LTC and this why I...

    Hello guys.

Hello. I have been researching the purchase of a car, and decided that what I needed/wanted was something large and comfortable. Lincoln and Cadillac came up as obvious answers, and what a better place to learn from both brands than LVC. I will be making my reserch from what you all can tell...
