I have an 02 Jetta with the 1.8 turbo - the thing is a rocket! Top speed of 145mph, this is the 4cyl and it is the highly desired motor. Lots of mods out there for the motor too!
Well guys I have sold my Mark VIII for a 2002 Jetta GLS with 1.8 turbo.
I have some things I bought for the Mark that I never installed and I don't know what they are worth, but just throw some numbers at me - everything is brand new.
I have a bauman shift kit and all the tranny upgrades...
Here is the news, it stayed level over night but after 30 minutes of driving it the front end dropped. I guess I have some bad bags - so point me in the right direction.
Well I did what the 1st link says. I drove the car for 20 minutes and it has been about 24 hours and the car is still holding. I didn't use the car all day today, funny thing though, the car seems to be sitting a little high all around? Maybe it is normal height compared to what it use to be...
Woke up this morning and the front of the car was on the ground - I started the car and the compressor fired right up and the car has been sitting at normal height all day. Is this a sign of the compressor beginning to fail, bag front bags or were the vents stuck open?
I always leave the card in OD except when I need a little umph going up a hill of if I want to pass someone quickly on the expressway. If you hit it and turn off the od at the same time you get catapulted! It's sick, I just don't know if that is healthy for the trans.
I will take them - please email me at devicemanager@comcast.net
DANG! - sorry man, I guess I got too excited, I do not have a mark 7. I am looking for a nice set of rims around the $400 mark!
