i had the shudder and a vibration, the lincoln dealer said they wanted to change the converter for a grand. so i then i canged the filter and drained the torque converter and put mercon V in and problem went away, i think most people dont think of draining the torque converter.

i was driving my 94 mark with 70k back home from south jersey when i was near my house i decided to fill her with gas befor i put her in the garage, after getting gas and starting the car it idols now at 400 rpms. did i get bad gas? did something wear out? what should i look for?

well it turns out to be the air pump, i just got the old one out, had to take the front bumper off and side lights, what a job! lol the pump that was in there had a date on it of july 03 it said arnott inc on it, i thought arnott was supposed to be a good brand. new one comes tomorrow. so...

its a 94 mark viii im going to replace the selanoids in the morning see if that does anything,

had to get towed home from LBI front end wont lift up bags are new cant find any leaks, the air pup runs than i here a click is sounds like the valve that lets air into the front bags wont let air in. any suggetions will help thanks

hey Bobscott I hope i can help, my 94 mark did the same thing once in a while, i flushed the trans with mercon v and drained the tork converter, then i changed the mlps sensor it shifts like new now.

thanks monstermark i checked the vaccum lines i couldnt find any lose lines but i made sure everything was tight and the light didnt come on anymore so i guess something was lose, oh and it just rolled to 70,000 today :L

same here when i have it toped off after only using 3 gallons it wont register untill i start the car a few times

check engine light well i did the seafoam thing and about 5 mins after starting the car i'm on the highway and the check engine light comes on :slam anyone have any idea why?
