    Rusty Intake Valves

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've been on here but hopefully I can get some advice on what to do next. So a couple of months ago, I posted on here that some water has gotten into my engine by the intake valves. Seems like surface rust, not too sure. First picture shows where the water has...

Removed Intake Manifold..Now Water in Engine

Hey guys, Long time in this forum. Had my 2004 LS V8 put away for the winter. Now that it's warm again, I'd like to finish where I left off. I took my intake manifold off to change the hose underneath for the cooling system. The intake manifold has been removed for about a month or so. I came...

    2004 LS8 Throttle Body Hose

Hey guys, how's everybody doing? So I've been trying to do my homework here as I've got a small coolant leak that I've been trying to track down for a bit now. I've been reading that there is a hose that connects to the block from underneath the intake manifold. My leak seems to be coming from...

Hint for steering wheel control cluster issue

On my 2nd gen, sometimes when I turn the volume down on the steering wheel the volume goes up on the radio. Maybe it's the button? I did exchange it for a used one that wasn't faded from a junkyard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Electrochromatic Mirror Not Working

Hey everybody! I've got an issue with my electrochromatic mirror not working. Tonight was the first time that I noticed it wasn't working, but it was working earlier in the day. I'm not sure if this is one of those gremlins that the car is blessed with or not. I've checked the fuse in the...

Passenger Rear brake light issue. HELP!!! 2000 LS

Have you tried a new bulb? My old Ford Focus did the same thing. Only stage 1 worked, but not stage 2. On my gen 2, the brake lights are 2 stage. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Bought a Kenwood in dash DVD.

Also saw this too: "Protect mode is usually from speaker wire grounding. Fade it to one speaker at a time ad turn it up with all the bass u got and see which speaker triggers the protect." Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Bought a Kenwood in dash DVD.

Do you have the radio hooked straight to the speakers or an amp? I'm reading it can be detecting a voltage change and is putting itself in protect mode to not damage itself. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    2nd Gen Exhaust Manifold Questions

Hey guys, it appears that I have a leak somewhere on the manifold or gasket on the passenger side. My local Lincoln dealer quoted me $130 to replace the gasket and all that fun stuff as long as I supply the parts. The problem is, they can't get the nuts for the manifold but they can get the...

needs some advice on a Motorcraft tune up kit off ebay

That actually seems like a good deal. The only thing I'm curious about is the warranty info on the coils. Both listings offer a 90 day exchange type deal after they test it. Motorcraft coils for these cars come with 2 year/unlimited miles warranties.

Ordered cooling plastic part. Will have it in stock, just in case.

Oh, alright. My fan used to run at full speed before I changed those parts, but ever since not a peep. I've checked the temperature, it's not overheating. But it is also very cold out as well.

Ordered cooling plastic part. Will have it in stock, just in case.

On the cooling parts for the 2nd gen, has anybody else used the Dorman brand assembly? I've only heard about the Dorman degas bottle that's bad. Last fall when I changed my cooling system parts I installed the Dorman assembly and all has been good. I've purchased the Motorcraft parts just in...

    2nd Gen Rear Control Arms

Looking on Tasca Parts, the LCA part numbers are similar but not the exact. I'm assuming not? Doing some research, I believe the LCAs are the culprit for the "too many cheeseburgers" squeak. The noise noise drives me insane as I hear it when I get out of the car and with every crease in the...

    2nd Gen Rear Control Arms

Deaconblue, here's a set of bushings from eBay for the rear control arms. I've heard the manufacturer is horrible though. http://m.ebay.com/itm/Lincoln-LS-Rear-Lower-Control-Arm-Fluid-Hydrabushes-Bushings-LEFT-RIGHT-SET-6-/121363132894?nav=SEARCH Ford claims you can't push the bushings out on...
