Honestly 04, I learn from this forum just like everyone else. I gave LQ good advice..........same thing Joe said later. Fix the coils first! I had an experience with the V-6 coils causing the throttle signal to go haywire. I've driven my LSes, several tens of thousands of miles. Quit...

    Headin Down to Florida! Vacation!

Of course it'll be at least 2000 miles before I get back to Ohio. I'm gonna take the 2003 V-8 LS because the 2004 V-6 has not had the coils or the oil leak addressed yet, and if that V6 blew a coil(passenger side) down there,I'd have to get parts and pull the upper intake to replace the ones...

LQ, maybe I should have expounded on that according to LIL Rig, but I was pointing out that bad coils cause interference which can affect the PCM which GIVES YOU A TRANS. PROBLEM. Lil Rig always looking for criticizing me cause he's jealous.LOL! don-ohio (:^) Here's his misunderstood...

    Mobile one full synthetic ???

Quote Deacon:`Because of all of this, I personally blend about equal parts of Mobil 1 High Mileage SL rated 5w-20 and 5w-30 oil (that I buy at Wal-Mart in 5 quart jugs for about $26)'' DeaconBlue.......you cannot do this. The PURISTS here will declare you a heretic and have your car shot! LOL...

What did you do to your LS today?

Don't worry about me................ALL my stuff stays on the road and runs right! The LSes are just trying to do too much with the PCM,that's all. If the newer cars are worse, then they're worse. The LS is bad enough. don-ohio (:^)

    Mobile one full synthetic ???

    Highway Steering Wheel Vibration

Have the tires balanced and checked for roundness and trueness of wheels. The LS is very sensitive to slight unbalance in tires. Been there....suffered that! One half ounce was all they said it took to fix my LS down in FL when it developed a slight bobble at about 60 or 70. don-ohio (:^)

What did you do to your LS today?

Nah,they went overboard and you know it,Joe. There IS a happy medium, but the LS is WAY on the extreme electronic side of that balance. don-ohio (:^)

What did you do to your LS today?

    Yes,it IS electronics overkill. We don't need no stinking PCs...LOL! don-ohio (:^)

Think I may have found the culprit to MC leak, can anyone chime in?

Hmmmm.....I've never had a cap leak on anything. I have seen fluid shoot straight up when bleeding IF the master cylinder was bad. I guess if it hits the cap,it could blow out the bad sealing surface or bad cap? don-ohio (:^)

    New here from nc

Sometimes the thermostat housing cap seal is bad or isn't seated well enough. If so, it will leak. When I put my new housing on,the cap had a bad o-ring seal, so I bought a new cap and threw the old cap with a new seal on it in the trunk. don-ohio (:^)

My wife's got the 03 LS on the road right now for a hundred mile trip that I have NO worries about blowing cooling parts and losing coolant. don-ohio (:^)

Okay,Joe! You just keep buying and recommending others to buy DE-GAS bottles and ENTIRE sets of plastic cooling parts. No WONDER someone thought you guys were getting a commission from Ford/Motorcraft. LOL! don-ohio (:^)

You really, truly are too stubborn to admit when you are mistaken, Joe. You keep forgetting.......I DO this.....I RUN this in every vehicle and have for many years and many, many miles. You are even afraid to try it.LOL! don-ohio (:^) QUOTE Joe: `You really, truly just don't understand any of...

Can't get the 12volt assecory outlet [POWERPOINT] to work ...LS '02

Also,to add to the benefit of 60/40.......................your freezing point plummets to around 60 below zero F. That beats 34 below by a huge margin. don-ohio (:^)

Can't get the 12volt assecory outlet [POWERPOINT] to work ...LS '02

60/40 transfers heat just fine,Joe..............YOU well know a person can go to 70/30% and still achieve cooling with no problems(sure, the fan may run a little more). On the other hand,do you want to let some person boil bubbles into their system while running down the road,or idling? As was...

    Wonderful Ride yesterday!

I'd like to try that for next year. Unfortunately, things always seem to get in the way. I live close to WV and they have some great foliage too. Thanks! don-ohio (:^)
