I am going to pull the panel the off this weekend and take a closer look

What is this plug that is unplugged in the drivers door under the switch. 2002 ls base

No I stopped with a rolled up penny saver and there was no force at all. Like a pad fan clutch back in the days of those.

02 v8 cooling fan only runs on low and can stop it with my hand? Is this the fan pump or solinoid? I am not a new technician just new to the hydro fan system.

02 ls v8. All plastic parts new. Still overheats. Started car today and could hold the fan with my hand and spin it in reverse with the motor rpms at 1500 or higher. I am lost is this a bad fan or controller.
