I just wanted to confirm what kind of wheel is on the cam.
36-1 wheel, or is it the style with a single raised bump, or maybe a vane type?
I have an ecu from a 1993 MkVIII, and didn't think to check the type of CID wheel when I pulled the other parts.
Thanks,
jason
I was going to use these for a project car, but changed direction before beginning the conversion.
I purchased these 2 parts about a month ago, and I have not connected anything to them yet.
The engine computer is a catch code W3Z3.
The CVRM has a sticker labeled 'VS'
From my research...
I'm not 'fixing' anything...
I'm trying to adapt a W3Z3 to my n/a 2.3 Mustang, with EDIS conversion.
I was running a CBAZA ecu, but it turns out... that strategy does not support EDIS.
It looks like the VCRM does not independently control the cooling fans, as I don't see any ECT...
I am looking to use a 93-95 Lincoln MkVIII PCM to run my 4 cylinder Mustang.
I was doing searches for wire diagrams and this place kept popping up. I joined to see what kind of documentation I could find here...
Thanks,
jason
