On the 97 Mark VIII does the long prong on the windshield washer button slide into the up or the bottom side of the hole in the stalk? Want to be sure before I latch in the replacement one. How does one get them out in the first place?

How can the radio head in my 1997 Mark VIII drain the battery overnight?? The dealer trying to resolve the battery-dead-overnight problem traced it to the radio head, pulled it, and problem stopped. Now no radio. How can the radio drain the battery with the key out?

The MarkVIII got rear-ended and since then the CD player keeps cycling without playing. It seems to put each disc in, look at track 01, and then cycles to the next disc without playing. Is there some place to send it for repair? If not, is there a plug-in replacement for it which will work...
