Oh I did connect the can and it was reading pressure in the system, it just wouldn't engage until I disconnected the switch which was on a line just to the left and below the airbox.

I remember reading a thread here on how to determine which one it is by turning but for the life of me I cant find it now. Whats happening is there is a noise coming from the front end that gets louder as you go faster, if turn right the noise goes away and if you turn left it get louder.

Anyone have the part number for the magnaflows for a 01 V8? I did a little searching, but I found conflicting posts about what size the exhaust pipes are on 01's.
