Havent been on here in quite a while... December I think?
Whats new around here? I see lots of usernames I don't remember before... Hopefully the community is still growing and not receding
Nothing new from me... My Mark is still in jackstand purgatory for the foreseeable future. Got a lot...
That is the question. What would you guys say to that?
Or, lets throw it for a loop... 4.10's and delete, or 4.30's and keep IMRC's?
What would be the better option? Car will more than likely be more street driven than track driven. But I want to have good fun at the track when I go.
For those that only come to this section of the forum (I'm usually guilty of that) Thought I'd throw this in here.

Perfect chrome, still bright and shiny inside, no burned chrome. Lenses are clear as glass still. I've been holding on to these for a long time in case something happened to my Mark.
Only a few little pits from road debris but I literally had to put them up to my eyes to tell.
Only way to...
Got a few things from the salvage yard Saturday that are for sale. Also have loads of parts that are in my storage unit that I need to get rid of to make room for my ever-growing mustang part collection!
The pertinent items are:
1st gen coolant crossover pipe - $35 + shipping
1st gen...
So, basically I killed my steering shaft tonight while trying to remove it. The rubber coupler joint was siezed into the black metal sleeve shaft that extends off the steering shaft. I ultimately had to remove my gas pedal from the firewall and take out the rubber gromet, steering shaft and all...
So in my attempts to free the rubber steering coupler joint from the black collapsable steering shaft, I fubar'd the whole darn thing. I broke the white plastic bearing that's inside the rubber firewall gromet, I broke the plastic rivits in the breakaway section of the shaft just under the dash...
As I stated above, I have the potential to buy a ZEX dry kit on the cheap, and I would love nothing more than to stuff it in the trunk of the Mark Viii :D
I think the only thin I need that the guy doesn't have is a bottle heater and a pressure gauge. Otherwise I can get everything for $200...
Ok here's my scenario. Trans has been rebuilt in my car. It overheated. Cause was insufficient flow thru stock radiator trans cooler. Barely anything. So, I can buy a new radiator for a little over a hundred, or spend just a few bucks more and get a stand alone trans cooler.
Which route...

Not trying to start a political debate of any kind.... just wanted to put it where everyone can see. So hopefully this section was ok to post this in.
Browsing ebay for the heck of it and came across this
http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=130480206650
Ad says its for a Mark Viii, and the part number tells me its a '93 part....
BS... right?
Friend of mine bought a 6dr town car limo for the heck of it. But it needs a motor and trans. He has a line on an aod from a Mark Vii..... anyone know if it will work?? Did the limos have longer tailshafts??
I've got a bumper cover with exhaust cut outs off of a '95, that I plan to put on my '93, but the metal bracket that rivits to the passenger side of the bumper cover on the inside was mangled and had a broken stud. Anyone have one laying around cheap or free? I would use the one off mine but my...
Here's the part number. Still available and not discontinued as previously believed. I just stopped in my local Ford dealer who can find me ANYTHING (found me a 351w Lightning lower intake once!)
So, here it is:

Retail is $13.48
You're welcome
Aside from the usual stuff to look for on these cars, what is there additionally I need to check on a '96 car, and the fact its an LSC?
He mentioned it needs some love, needs new front leather, moon roof weatherstrip, and headlights are yellow, needs repainted....
I'm going to check out...
Just curious, I don't think id even be able to get it... a friend ran across this on a job. Old lady owns it, her husband who died had the car and barely drove it. Now it just sits...
