couple days ago i noticed my radio would not turn on and when car was turned off, a faint "popping" noise from inside the car, sounds like from the ceiling. at night when interior lights are on, the radio lights faintly flash. pulling the #18 fuse from the interior box stops the popping...
I can get hot and cold air, but to get warm/hot air, I need to set it on like 76 or 77. Even right now when it's cold out, 70 blows cool air.
Replaced all plastic parts of cooling system last summer/fall. Did not do the DCCV. Is this the culprit?
2004 LS V8 with 102k on the ticker.
do you use it most of the time or just put it in D5 and leave it?
reason i ask - i noticed that the car will stay in 3rd at a stop while in SST. we all know that 2-3 shift is abrupt, so might there be any benefit to staying in SST, only going from 3-5 instead of letting the car in D5 cycle...
i've searched around for this but can't find anything on it so apologize if i've missed something obvious.
anybody dealt with their front sill plates being corroded/scuffed up like in the attached photo? mine are and i hate it.

LOVING this car but i wish it had more storage in front of me (aside from the armrest storage) that was easily accessible. i don't smoke and would love to have more storage where the cig lighter is. i searched several times and didn't find anything.
just picked the car up a few weeks ago. so far love it. have the 6-disc changer. noticed that when playing a CD, after several minutes, a noise develops that sounds like a whirring or something spinning. can't hear it while listening to the CD, but even continues for a few seconds after cut...

i did a couple searches for this to no avail. title is self-explanatory. when adjusting power driver seat, there's a funny clicking/grinding noise. does not happen with passenger seat. definitely not normal.
any ideas? much...
