LS first car designed to last to 150,000 miles
Yeah I went to a couple of dealerships about the tranny and they said "You need a whole new transmission" I took it to a local tranny place and they fixed it in two days for $727. I talked to the guy there and he basically explained when they had to do and that you can't even get the spring...- tbutt99

I have 110,000 on my 2000 v-8 LS, I bought it with 60,000 on it. I just had to replace a spring and solenoid pack in the transmission but, other than that is has been good to me. (Knock on wood!) It acctually drive much better now than it ever has. :L Tim- tbutt99

Where do you get the Valve Cover kits?
OK I found the one on fordpartsnetwork before but the place where it is leaking is around the sparkplugs. to quote the tech article "Do not make the same mistake that I made here. I went to FordPartsOnline and purchased a valve cover gasket for the right and left side. This did NOT include...- tbutt99

Where do you get the Valve Cover kits?
I just replaced my spark plugs (over 100,000 miles, bought with 65,000) I noticed one of the wells had oil in it. So I found the link for the walk through on replacing them. I noticed the gasket kit part numbers. So where do you get the parts. I tried fordpartsnetwork and fordpartsonline...- tbutt99
