2002 LS V8 Part For Sale, Shocks and Cooling System Parts

Everything should fit except the lower radiator hose, you need to look underneath the car a see if it has an external oil cooler. I am pretty sure all sports had external oil coolers. So you will need to find the correct lower hose, but everything else i have in that kit should work.

Many issues started all at once. Wanted to get everyone's thoughts / experiences before.............

2001 Lincoln LS. 3.9 V8. 127,000 miles. Have owned the car since 2005. Second owner. near perfect condition - no rust. Almost always garage kept, or parked in a parking garage at work. Typically has not been a daily driver. Up until 6 months ago, ran flawless (as flawless as a Jag based...

    1994 Mark viii idle issue

Pug off the VAC going into the fire wall to the AC/heat controller. The controllers have ALOT of O rings in them that can get dry and shrink enough to give you leaks. There is a U tube vid that shows you how to replace all those little O rings. I did that to no avail and ended up buying a used...

23 chev bolt euv, not a tesla. too bad they cancelled them for a few years. they were popular and the cheapest long range electric in north america. bought here in alberta, with no extra incentives. works fine, even in the subarctic. i get a kick out of sceptics. they won't work in the cold...

Right on, man. Glad it's working for you. I'll go electric at some point. I have gas and hybrids now. Next time you buy washer fluid, save the gallon jug. You can refill it with tap water and use a squirt of dish soap, I use Dawn. Works the same and it's practically free. Obviously not for...

Good way to avoid addressing Musk's 'blood profits at any cost' comment I guess, some weird disconnected threat. LoL, you people. But just in case you're ignorant and it's sheer ignorance here, let me explain in simple terms: Marx believed that Capitalism served to exploit workers so the...

So, the refugee that evades the communists over-running South Vietnam comes here wins a Pulitzer Prize, working and succeeding in Americas system, and then makes the claim that "Marx was right after all." I don't know which one of you I deplore more; him or you for using it. I lost friends to...

Loud whining/screeching noise followed by rapid overheating. 2001 Lincoln LS V8

It sounds like a bad belt tensioner. I would check my belt tensioner and see if it's weak. If its weak it's letting the belt slip around the waterpump causing overheating and screeching sounds. You can also look for black rubber buildup on the smooth part where the drive belt rides around the...

Loud whining/screeching noise followed by rapid overheating. 2001 Lincoln LS V8

Well the car overheated while I was on a joy ride, I do remember whining then but I don't remember it being as loud but that may have been because the hood was shut. I had triple A tow it to my garage, where I bled the coolant system, and found out that overheating it had fried my thermostat, I...

Thank you xtriggerman for stepping up and giving me an answer I can use. As you say it doesn't bother me, it's in a good position so I'll leave it alone.....As I've said many, many times I'm not working on my Mark anymore cause life is frustrating enough......Let someone else do it I...

Again... how's that $20/hr minimum wage thing working out in Cali??? From what I understand, all the coastline shops are turning into ghost towns. Don't forget about the "free stuff being pilfered.

Electronic Transmission Issue - Any input helps!

I'll be working on it this weekend. Based on my conversations with my tranny shop and Flagship One, as well as my own research, we think it's either the wiring to the solenoid, or the solenoid pack itself. Thankfully I have the codes now but I'm still stunned by how long it took for them to show...

    1994 Mark viii idle issue

the crank position sensor goes bad often enough on these cars and should be changed as well. if that doesn't help, I'd look into the secondary intake flaps to see if they are shut at idel and only opening over the 3K rpm mark. if they are sticking, it sounds like what you have. Way too much air...

    Oil Leak

The 2005 Lincoln LS V8 had a one time (so far) oil leak. Took the car for like a 30 mile round trip and parked it in the garage. Two days later, when my wife took it out to go shopping, I noticed an oil puddle on the floor and after she came back from shopping and parked the car, there were no...

    Door lock actuators

If they all don't work, I agree it's probably not all the actuators failed at once. I would guess the DDM can just send signal to the central thing that's not working, so replacing that wouldn't do anything. Electrical things that move something physically like a lock usually have a fuse and a...

An example of why you don’t buy new parts off eBay.

Yup, gotta be careful though, they counterfeit motorcaft parts and boxes as well as every other brand, they look close unless you know the subtle differences. I had a friend that bought a cell phone on Amazon, looked legit, turned on and everything, has some weird custom os and wouldn't...
