    Well you could try the old bake them in a oven at 250F for a while? Then pry the lens off? I have not done this on an LS light but the same year Jaguar S-Type head lights are very repairable this way. Use gloves to handle the hot head light. . . .

    Battery charge life.

    What I use is a clamp on DC ammeter. Until I got mine chasing these tiny current drains was a nightmare as you found out. It is worse with cars that go to sleep as that just adds hours to your troubleshooting! Plus it's SO MUCH nicer and quicker to clamp the meter on without disturbing anything...
