Why not just wet sand some of the tint off so the red lenses are a little more visible? That should get the cops off your back.

Just an update, I used Turtle Wax Leather Cleaner to remove the dye from the leather seats.

I found out they did the same thing on the drivers seat in my '03. I was cleaning them with leather cleaner and all the dye just starting rubbing off. It turns out the seat didn't really match either. It took some elbow grease and the whole bottle of cleaner but it all came off. I'm still...
