    2000 Navigator Overheating

Yeah, I suspected a possible blockage. Just an update on this. When I drove home last night, it was normal temp (195) but I pulled the cap off anyways to see if there was air trapped. Before pulling the cap off, the upper hose going into the thermostat was really hard. I pulled the cap, it...

    2000 Navigator Overheating

I'm having an issue with my Navigator I'm hoping you guys can help me with. I just bought it like a month ago so I don't know a ton about it. It had a small leak by the upper hose, which I thought was a clamp so I replaced it. It still leaked so I was thinking it was a small hole in the...

Hmm, I have bought several times and never got this. I found out a backdoor way to get it though. I bookmarked Mark VIII and Continental closeout links lol.

Ignition actuator rod needed! Any tips?

You're welcome. Was that actually your problem though? My key got stuck in the ignition like a month ago. I was told this was likely my problem as well. I swapped in a steering column from a 95 Cougar. Put it all back together, it was good. First drive, key stuck again. Turned out to...

Are you talking about the white plastic part that's inside (on the top) of the steering column?

    Transmission service

Yeah, do it yourself man. Use Mercon V. Filter doesn't really matter, they're all the same (quality wise).

    Transmission service

Mine acted up when I first got the car. I did a full fluid drain myself and changed the filter, plus did a JMOD and it's perfect now and has been for 3 years. I'm going to roll over 216,000 miles this week. To do the filter and fluid, you just have to carefully pull the pan. You could pull...

5am it wobbled just a hair to the East and we avoided a major hit inland (Orlando) and of course the coast. Absolutely insane. Glad your Mark is OK.

    Need information on air ride

So you don't have to disconnect anything in the rear to drop it down and get the spring out and put the air bag in? I can rent a spring compressor, no biggy. I just expected to have to disconnect the lower arm or something to get them back in.

    Need information on air ride

Out of curiosity, what is involved in swapping the rear? Front seems self explanatory. I'm not sure on the rears since I've never done them. I have a set of air bags to swap in and I'm getting closer to doing the job (once I get in there to test the compressor to make sure it still works).

Lowering 0-60 time on Mark VIII

^he speaks the truth. My Mark is my daily. If I do something, it has to be finished before Monday morning when I have work. It can be extremely stressful to get the jobs done in time. Also a good thing in a sense because it pushes me to be a problem solver and get it done lol. On that note...
