If you say 'the crank case position sensor is the place to get a signal to feed a tach', Ill try that. I .appreciate your input. Will be a week or so before I have an opportunity to get into this. PS, The Mark VIIIs did not have a tach.- MyFord

I have a 1998 Mark VIII, 5.4 L DOHV engine in a 1954 Ford Victoria. The Mark VIIIs did not have a tach and I want to add one to the installation in the 1954 Ford conversion.
