Welcome to lvc. Look and search in the Mark VIII section, as this issue has been covered multiple times, because the headlights in the 1st gens are terrible.

Unfortunately there are no aftermarket headlights out there for 1st or 2nd gen Mark VIII's. If you have a 1st generation Mark VIII, your best bet is to buy a set of LSC headlight housings from someone.
It most likely is the blend door actuator. Common problem on the 2nd gen cars. Usually when the actuator breaks, it sticks on the cold side, but can happen either way. Search on this site in the Mark VIII forums for blend door actuator. It's been discussed many times. Also on MarkVIII.org I...
Welcome to lvc. Nice find with 48,000 miles. Post this question in the Mark VIII section and you'll get a lot more responses. A lot of people don't look at this section. Post up some pics of it.
You should be able to rest your hand on the pcm, so that's definitely a problem. Not sure if you have a bad pcm, or a bad ground going to the pcm. Bad grounds cause things to heat up. I can't remember right now where the pcm is grounded. Someone on here will know. If not I can look it up at work.
If you are talking about a Mark VIII, do you mean the blower fan quits working in the rain? If so you have water leaking into passenger side firewall area, leaking into blower motor module.
