You most likely need the potentiometer. There's an ear that breaks on the piece that slides, causing one of the 2 functions to not work. You will have to remove the column and disassemble to find out for sure, although it will set a code in the scil module that does not turn the check engine...

As the title says, looking to buy the factory stereo amps, mostly interested in the 95-98 amps. Might consider a few 93-94s. Please make sure they work correctly. I'll trade other Mark VIII parts or buy them outright. Let me know what you have. Only want ones from the cars with jbl systems...
