Sick 95 Town Car

Hi,

Hope someone can point me where to go with this.

I have a 1995 Town Car that is sick.

I have a trouble code P1270 for Rev Limiter, and one for coil B circuit bad.

The dealer put on new cats, 1 new coil pack, then said the trouble code showed the other coil pack bad. They also installed new factory spec spark plug wires, and a new fuel pump.

The car runs like it is only running on 4 cylinders, has no power, and can be hard to start.

I've been out a ton of money on this car and the dealer is scratching his head.

Any ideas? Thanks

No thoughts on this? Any where I can find a wiring diagram to start checking the wiring?

Thanks for the help. It is still not fixed. Two different dealers are unable to figure out what is going on. Have put it on the back burner for a bit. Will print this off and go to checking wiring. Thank you again. Roy

Is there any more symptoms and I mean anything

No other symptoms. Just no power. The trouble code for the rev limiter comes back immediately after clearing the codes.

An ecu is cheep at a junk yard.
This is assuming that fuel pressure has been checked both at idle and under load.
