Ok we all know that the stock 90-94 stock headlights suck, even with new reflector housing they are sub-par. Would the 87-93 Mustang reflector assemblys work with the TCs? They look the same size, they are different bulbs but cant they be re-wired as well?

These look nice with a more focused reflector.

EDIT: Delete one topic, I somehow posted 2... Sorry mods!

I made these for my 1990 TC. There not completed yet, waiting for my HID kit to arrive.

You should do a tech article on the process and submit it to Joeychgo.

omg they look amazing! How much would you charge if I sent you a brand new pair of housings to put these in?!?!

Do you have the projectors?

In total my projectors came to $350 on eBay , that's for the two pairs. Then another 50$ for the HID kit.
One set of projectors is from a BMW and are bi-xenon HID. The other is a universal fog light with angel eyes.

I'm installing them on the TC tomorrow. I'll post some pics when there done.

Here's some pics of them sealed. I used stove pipe tape and pieces of plexi to build the back.

I can get projectors, do they have to be BMW? I can get a pair of TSX projectors for probably 100 on ebay. Now how is the lighting setup, are you running bi-xenon projector, or separate hi-low, and if separate how did you rewire for both bulbs?

The HID kit, I have but don't think I would have the correct bulb size, I'm running a 9004-3 (Bi-Xenon) HID kit on the Linc now.

I'm not sure if I want to make another. Mine were a tight fit with no more room to spare. There not a 100% perfect...

The way I wired them is the outer ones are on a switch inside the car. The inner ones are bi-xenon and are connected on the factory headlight wiring. Both are connected with relays.

This is my setup

Needed to cut out the back fiberglass part to make room for the projectors.

You can see that they fit but with no more room to spare.

Got any photos at night with the cutoff? That look great!

I'll try to get some soon but right now we're in the middle of a winter storm and I noticed the headlights fog up a little. Going to play with them some more to try and fix that problem.

Madme, you should deff start your own thread! I'm sure many people would love to see those lights, and you will probably get a lot of props from the members here!
