Interior question

The message center buttons ( select and reset ) were burnt out. Do they need special bulbs or any regular bulbs ??
the car is a 1999 lincoln town car .

I have the same problem and the same year car as this fellow's. Anyone shed some light about changing those message center button bulbs that are burnt out?

remove the bulbs, there should be a number on them, if there isnt a number bring it to a parts store and have them match it.

How do you get to these bulbs? Does the trim panel clip off? I don't want to break it.

only thing I can find is the module...F8VZ-10D996-AC....$92.27 retail and 69.20 LVC The bulbs for the a/c panel are #161 and the rest say "sonic" welded.

Yes, mine also went out but I don't think it's a light bulb issue. You might have to replace the entire black thingy. Anyone had it fixed yet?
