The car is in Italy.
The seller is from my area. Hes in the military. I did a Carfax and got a complete service history from the dealer that use to service it. Its still under warranty. Not real sure about it. Not being able to actually see the car in person. Not a big fan of the LARGE rims. The car came with 19's. Those look to be 22" or 24".
I am keeping the LS.

car seems to move around alot. pics in vegas, being from your area and now the car is in italy. just seems a little fishy. but gorgeous car none the less
I am going in Monday to sure up the finance end of the deal. Make sure the money goes into escrow. The deal is, the car wil take 8-10 days to receive. I have 10 days to inspect and except or reject the deal. If I accept the deal, the money will be released. If I don't, the car goes back and I keep the money. No cost to me. The car is still under warranty. I plan take it to the dealer and have it checked out top to bottom front to rear.

hope that all works out for you. just make sure you protect yourself from being scammed (which it seems like youve done).
I did some more investigating on the car. The car CANNOT be in Italy. Carfax would have had known and reported of it being exported. PLus, the owner has not e-mailed me current pictures of the car. Leads me to believe that he doesn't have it at all. Several people have identified the building in the picture as being taken in Vegas. Theres no way the car could be or has been in Vegas. The Carfax report from the dealer in New Jersey accounts for service and oil changes every 1900 to 3000 miles. Its impossible to drive the car from New Jersey to Vegas and back in less then 3000 miles. I am thinking about reporting the guy to Autotrader and Ebay so someone doesn't get hosed on a deal with this guy. I am definitely NOT dealing with the car.

02 with the rims and and 40k miles for 22k seemed a little fishy to me to begin with... 02's stock are at a solid 30k around here with close to 50k on them

These guys have been doing it for ever. They ask for very little on their car and ask for a down payment, theyll ship it and you can look at it. They dont ship your car and take your money. Here is an email I got that goes over how they do it.

So you just want to buy another luxury car? Are you going to be selling the LS in the future or you just want two nice cars?
I am looking for something either the same size or larger then the LS. Its for the wife and children. I plan to take our Durango from the wife as a daily driver. Then go full blowin show with the LS.

Haha. This guy on ebay was trying to scam me for an 03 10th anniversary Cobra for 9 grand using ebay buyer protection services, when there is no such thing, saying that it was because it was his brother's car who had died and the memories were just too strong. He had hacked into a reputable seller's account that was in Salt Lake telling people to e-mail him, so I asked him if I could come look at it. He said the car was in Tennessee already ready to ship and that there was no way I could look at it. I looked up the vin; it had more miles on it than he said (like 22000, he claimed it only had 3000) and had been sold the previous summer to the second owner in Chicago I figured him out pretty quickly and wasted a good 2 months of his time telling him I was getting the money and what not, towards the end you could tell he was getting pretty pissed. I just had another lady on craigslist try the same thing on a Porsche Boxster for 3 grand.
