Hi its me, Candie. I have and love my 2002 ls. The speakers on lft front barely has no sound and no sound in back. I know how to use fade and balance. Recently took sleeve off steering wheel to check out turn signal switch ,I dont think that would have anything to do with it but then again i know nothing about wireing and speakers any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. You should make LS related posts here: Lincoln LS

No, the steering column wiring is not related to the speakers. Your headunit (radio) may be going bad, or it may be that those two speakers are failing. You could swap the front or back speakers left to right. If it stays on the same side, then it is radio, or if it moves to the other side, then it is the speakers. Be warned, it takes a lot of pulling force to remove the interior door trim. You will think that you are going to break it. (There are a few screws to remove first.)
