Let my LS sit for a good 2 months. Finally took it out today and now the wheel is giving me a rubber like straining/rubbing noise whenever I turn at low parking speeds unless I move the wheel extremely slow.

Almost sounds like its in the actual linkage/collumn and not the actual PS rack. Is there an area or part that can be greased/lubed?

Nothing that can be "greased." You can spray some lube in a few places to find the problem.

Where the input shaft goes into the top of the steering rack. There is a plastic guard that moves with the shaft. Spray between the guard and the top of the rack where the shaft goes in. Sounds from all the way down there can sound like they are coming from just behind the steering wheel.

The intermediate shaft u-joints.

The bearing/sleeve at the firewall.
