Am I going to have to drop the engine to replace the brake proportioning valve? Anyone with experience replacing the brake proportioning valve have any suggestions?

Drop the engine? Where the hell is is located exactly? I thought it was in the fender, but I never touched one.

It's on the frame rail behind the steering column wiring harness and exhaust manifold about 10 inches below the master cylinder, I thought about pulling the master cylinder loose and going at it from the top but I don't think there's room to to get at all four brake lines from the top, I have the car on jack stands and I think I'm going to try to unbolt the K-member and see if I can lower the engine enough to get at it. Any other suggestions would be appreciated
