Potential headlight conversion

I was looking at a set of 95 GMQ headlights today and I noticed something, the little black plastic that the bulbs screw into looks surprisingly like the ones holding my new bulbs in, they align perfectly with the old bolts for the HIDs. Has anyone else noticed this?

The inside of my left headlight assembly has a serious condensation problem, and I couldn't find any videos or instructions online that show how to remove it so I can blow it out and seal it. I've only had the car for a month, so any help is greatly appreciated.

The only things I've seen on a set of Grand Marquis headlights have only 2 screw holes.
