Well I bought another Mark VII and this will be the 5th MKVII I have owned. All but one were under $1000 and I sold all 4 for a profit. Yes they're getting harder to find priced under $1000 these days and the ones I do see under 1K they're usually shit boxes. Found this 1990 in Indiana and I bought it from the 2nd owner. She got the car in 1995 with 62K miles on it and was her only vehicle until 2013. It's been sitting since and I was surprised to see the body in such good shape after sitting that long. It's rust and dent free and even the front valence and fog lights are damn near perfect. It fired right up with a fresh battery and ran pretty good considering the old gas in the tank. I'm picking it up on Saturday and will tow it home. Can't wait to get started on it, new exhaust and a few bolt ons are coming soon. Been a few years since I had a VII and I'm looking forward to driving it

The interior is in decent shape and it should clean up pretty good, the AC blows cold and the air ride airs up. The first thing I plan to do is get all of the interior out and pressure wash the inside and the carpet. As long as it's been sitting Lord knows what all has been living in it
