I recently bought a 96 LSC with 43k miles in near mint condition.Whenever I come home from a drive I pull in the garage, shut the car off,and get out.Within about 10 seconds I hear a click near the front, then some air leaking out,and the front only drops an inch or two.Is this normal?

yes. the air suspension is an active system, and has a ride height, park height, and highway height.
height changes based on the situation.

The front has all the weight, and by changing the position of the bag, it might increase it's life

How come the rear of the car doesn,t drop. The car always has that "raked" look when parked.
This could be due to the way the height sensors are adjusted. You can move these up or down to adjust the normal ride height. If someone adjusted the front sensors, rear or both, it can give that raked look (raising sensor makes the car lower, lowering sensor raises the car)
