I haven't been on here in quite some time. I bought a beautiful Toreador Red Gen2 LSC from Thomas A back in October 2012. At the time it was a log manifold stock converter Vortech S-trim car. With the help of a small diet, E85, longtubes, 4200 stall, fuel cell, and poly bushings throughout on draglite wheels, I managed to knock and additional 1.4 seconds of ET off of this car without even touching the blower pulley(8 psi). The temperature was 77 degrees and the DA was a whopping 2282 feet. This was also on completely open converter with no lockup. I plan to take the car to California for an event at the end of September but I'm hoping to get some track time late fall. I'm going to be doing a few more things including a "hot lava" tune on it for track only since I'm only on a measley 17 degrees of timing and I'm going to try my best for a high 10. The car has no cage in it, so hopefully it hooks first pass. I will be getting the boot for no bar as it is. Might as well go for the whole cage so I can swallow the pill of putting that weight back in it.

Here is the slip:

Here is my 3rd best pass of the day which was the exact pass that put me ahead of Don Pfau.

Here is a pull in the car the very morning we street tuned it with Livewire. It took about 2 hours worth of time and I was out the door with a car that was almost 8 tenths faster than last year when I ran a best of 12.29

Note, the speedo reads slow due to 28" tires. Figure 110ish here.

I will be travelling to California at the end of September with the car on a trailer to meet up with the west coast folks for an event. I will only be briefly touching the tip of Texas. I have a feeling you are NOT talking about a MARK VIII either. Lol

Congratulations, thats a big improvment. Looking good to. I imagine it will probably do even better when it gets cooler. So are you running E-85 now ??

Thanks Don!

Yessir. The DA was terrible. In my experience with Frosty, 20 degrees or so is 2-3 tenths, especially when the air dries out. E85 is godly. I'll never run this car without it again. My car was up in the air for 3 months as my good friend pecked away at it when he could outside of his daily life. Good things come to those who wait. I couldn't be happier.
