I imagine finding pictures of smashed thunderbirds and cougars would be much easier and would give you a pretty accurate picture since the underlying chassis is the same.

My Mark VIII "accident" wasn't even a fender bender, it was a bumper cover and headlight bender, and header panel.

My Cougar accident was much harder, 40 mph hitting someone turning in front of me. Me and my passenger got beat up by the airbags and seat belts, but I drove the car home (as they wouldn't send out a cop, so I decided that they had no say in it).

I have been gathering parts to fix it, but it needs some quality time on a frame machine, then part of the front frame cut off and replaced with the core support. I got 4300 bucks from the insurance, bought it for 175 bucks, bought the 97 Mark VIII to replace it for 2300 bucks. I got 2000 for the parking lot accident as they couldn't get parts, so no body shops would fix it. I am 275 dollars into fixing it, and if the paint comes out good then they bought me some new tires and a scooter.

Here is the two wrecks I've been in...

This is how the front of mine looked after the wife wrecked it. I have port a powered out the radiator support back to acceptable limits, installed new header and hood. I Also had to replace passenger headlight assy. For the hood latch I had to make some standoffs because mounting area was pushed in and it was either cut it out and weld new in or standoffs. New bumper sensors installed. Starting on interior air bags modules, clock springs and blend air door while dash is loose. Should be down soon.

I wrecked 1 of mine at 100 and it drove home spun into the concrete center divider, hit with the right rear.

Happened monday morning. Had rained all night, a little drizzle here and there on my way. Was getting on the interstate, doing about 50, hit the gas to speed up and merge,, the back tires spun, car went completely sideways and went straight for the inside wall. Crossed 3 lanes of traffic, hit the wall, then got drilled by a tahoe coming in the fast lane a split second after i hit the wall. Walked away with some minor burns from the air bags.

Man, I am afraid of hitting the gas on dry roads goin 50 because it gets sideways- I can only imagine what was going through your head when it kicked sidewalk on a wet road. Glad to see you walked away!
