I've been messaging this seller; car hit a deer, front bumper, headlights, grill and 'panel' were replaced (black not green)....neon not working, strutmasters, BDA: "Blend door actuator has been replaced but the linkage between the two arms is missing" , he claims ofa_g has been replaced, new ac comp, drivers seat works sometimes, heated driver seat never works, "Driver interior door handle looks as if it has been glued back in and looks messy but works fine. The sunroof has a water stain behind it, the previous owner left it cracked once, about an inch wide. "
----
"This isn't a perfect car, but it also is a car that would meet good condition standards. I have it priced well below fair not because it isn't in fair or better condition, but because I do not use it and just want it gone. $3200, to me, is more than reasonable." he claims it needs a drv side LBJ, but all the front end susp is orig (except the coils)

I guess $2500 would be a fair deal for somebody that can do their own work and knows exactly what their getting into. Should've said that I wouldn't pay over 2k.

Seat track will set you back $250
Ballast $100
Seat control panel you might be able to fix yourself assuming the pieces are still there. $5 for abs epoxy
Front end=$3-500
Door panel $150
Heat elemnts aren't worth replacing and have been long discontinued
Blend door $50
Paint to match the car $750-1000

Must be someone that sees the 10k/15k priced 12,000 mile examples on eBay for sale and never bought.

wow! the 396hp cobra model 1 of 1400.
Silver Anniversary? Wasn't 1996 the diamond anniversary?
1996 Lincoln Mark VIII Silver anniversary - $2500 (Southeast Fort Collins)
For sale is my 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII special edition cobra. If you take the time to do the research, you'll see that this is a very limited edition with only 1400 of these cars made. It has 396 hp on the cobra motor that makes this an incredibly fast car. Electric everything and leather all the way around makes it a very comfortable ride as well. The air ride suspension is fully functional makes pretty comfortable ride. Sometimes it gets hot and overheating occasionally and between that and the two doorhandles that's all that is wrong with this car. Normal wear and tear for the year of the car. Looks like a real G ride. Email me or call me for more information or to come take a look at it. Custom rims good tires all the way around. My name is Paul 970545zero1five3

3k for the engine and transmission? Not sure what these front range Co people are smoking, when clearly you can get 100 more HP and the entire car for 500 less from the above person.
4.6 - $3000 (Greeley)
I have a complete running set, 4.6l, 4R70W trans, Harness ect. That originally came out of a Lincoln Mark 7. Currently the engine is still in the vehicle and running waiting for the rite buyer to hear and see it run. This engine and trans is tight w/ no leaks. If you have any questions about this add please feel free to contact me for more information. $3000.00 obo
Thanks
John

distributor cap (well distributer, maybe that is different)? 2 distributor caps?
79000+ MILES. Decent condition. Its needs a distrubuter cap, battery, and has factory air bags that dont work, i dont know which one doesnt work so its all the way down. This was be a project car but im behind on some bills so wanaa just get cash for it. Has a alpine cd deck and changer, runs so strong when both distrubuter are working. Currently drives and I can drive to you if u buy it. Registration expired last year so thats it. If you are mechanically incline at all then this is a steal...

I don't understand how someone could be working on a 'project car' but doesn't know the difference between a distributor cap and a coil pack. They don't even look similar.

Small pictures but curious about the damage to the deck lid. Looks like revenge with the neon section and gas door gone, and scratches on the deck lid.

Title issues are no fun, don't need a 1300 dollar parts car, but with a title and no additional pricey issues, would be nice to replace my 89 Cougar.

Also this is why I have 5 different ways to search craigslist for Mark VIII's, since they put mark 8 and no viii except in the model field which is not searchable.

I'd like to see where you can get find a decent neon for $75, I suppose pick n pull but any 2nd gens around here in pick n pull have the neon's broke so someone can gain access to the trunk.

I picked a non working non LSC with really nice looking reflector for 16 bucks.

I first tried to pop the trunk with the battery from my impact driver, but gen II uses the SCIL so it isn't a simple 12v signal on the button. I then took my harbor freight jump pack, bridged the trunk pop wires, and hooked up the box to the battery wires long enough to watch the trunk spring open.

I haven't tried my glitch ballast with it yet, I did try the ballast with the jump box in the yard and it didn't work, so I left it, but decided for 16 bucks maybe I can paint the chrome and not miss the "LSC" letters, so I later returns and got it.

Looks like there might be some damage on the hood/header panel in the center. I like the effect of the grille with non body color bars.
