have water in the coil packs when it rains and car is outside. It's clear not coolant any one else had this problem. car is a 05 v6. The water is in the spark plug socket hole. It shorts out the coil and causes a mis-fire

Change the hood to cowl cover gasket.

Also you can either purchase new coil covers or put some black rtv gasket maker on the edge of your old ones. Replace your spark plugs and clean the wells out as well.

Psssssssttttt..... The V6 doesn't have coil covers.....

Water gets in where shaft for drivers side wiper penetrates cowl. Is cowl tight against windshield(rubber gasket)? Are all of the plastic fastners in place. Good Luck
