What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

had her drivers side valve cover gasket let go yesterday while taking a sharp turn at high speeds i stopped at a light and was smoking when i checked there was oil dripping from the valve cover onto the manifold on the brightside earlier that day she showed a camaro fan boy how our modulars win races its the fastesr ive ever drove at 115 ;) now today im doing her valve covers
 
joined the ranks of the unemployed yesterday...looks like all car projects are on hold, indefinitely

Okay folks. My insurance claim on my totaled '95 Mark is hopefully coming along nicely. I'm waiting for a call from the adjuster any time now and hopefully they'll give me a reasonable amount of money. I'm looking for another Mark VIII. Anything 1995 and up with less than 100k miles if possible. I'd like something besides white this time. Maybe red or black. If anyone has one for sale or knows where I can get one for a good price, please let me know. I want one that isn't going to require a lot of work to get on the road. I'm getting too old for that sh*t I just want a good Mark VIII with low mileage like mine. It only had 97k on it. As I will have a parts car, minor necessary repair work may be acceptable. Anyhoo, I would really appreciate any help I can get. Thanks again!!!!!!

I don't remember if I posted it here or not, but I lost my Mark last Wednesday. An early 90's Camaro pulled out in front of me and I hit her. The car was driven by a 22 year old girl. I'm completely disgusted. But I'm hoping I can replace my Mark with another one soon. Here are some pics of the carnage:

I know right? If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all. :(

Sure wasn't a "Peacful" day for me...

And to top it all off, the girl driving the Camaro got the ticket for failing to yield right-of-way but the license plate on the Camaro was registered to a Ford Ranger. And the owner of the Ranger is denying that she has a Camaro and State Farm is denying the claim because they say their policy holder wasn't involved. So now Nationwide has to cover my claim. But they said they would go after State Farm for reimbursement when it's all over. I'm just so beyond disgusted that I've lost my Mark. It just pi$4es me off so bad! Anyhoo, I need another one. :)

So shouldn't the camaro owner be getting arrested for stolen plates? Cops didn't notice?

Too bad there isn't anything left of your gen2 parts car, now you'll end up w/ another g2 and a gen1 parts car...

Should've stuck with the 2nd gens that way you'd have 2 parts cars. That's all i'm sayin'.
 
T-Wood, come get my charcoal (brown) 96.....paint is still in great shape, dual eh with x-over and magnaflows no cel's, recent tps, iac, imrc, int vgc.....high miles (195) mostly highway, but runs great.....make an offer no issues (ac just needs a charge)
