Supercharging 98 Mark VIII LSC

The block came with a 2003 cobra oil pump and oil cooler. Will that pump be adequate? My buddy is driving me to get the parts now :)
That pump does not have steel gears so no.

If cams are still in heads with rocker arms on, the rockers will need to be taken off to spin cams and check for any problems. This is easy way to get rockers off with just a flat blade screwdriver. Once rockers are off you can easily spin cams to check for any binding. You can then pull main towers off and look at cam journals.
