congrats! Good Luck!

I got stuck trying to drive up my driveway in less than 1" of snow. Reminded myself to throw the sandbags in the trunk.

Speaking of suspension work, just got inner tie rods, lower front ball joints, rear wheel bearings, and a serpentine belt for good measure.

Thus concluding my suspension rebuild. Now I can start stock piling those coolant parts to replace this summer.

Make sure you check the lengths of your inner tie rods. Iirc mine were different lengths on each side.

May I ask you what brand of rear inner tie rods you end up getting? I am waiting for this and its back ordered from the factory Deeza brand part #JA-L607, out of stock. They said it will be available by late december or early january, thinking about going to a different brand.

If you are talking about the rear stabilizer bar link, aka that part referred to by at least 3 names, then yes I used the deeza ones based on recommendations from other members here. Rock auto does show it out of stock but I found 7 of them here for about the same price.

Call me stupid, but I don't know what you are talking about. Are you saying the two parts were different lengths when you received them?

Finished putting the Stances in. All that's left is to button up an end link and rear link bolt and find wheels and tires that clear the brakes.Car has an offer for $8500 for it right now that I accepted. Hope the guy comes through as it would make a helluva down patment on a bike or put a huge dent in student loans.

Btw, if this deal goes through. Will have CDC and McLaren grille up for sale along with 3 shock tower caps (2 regular and the one that covers everything). Everything else is going with it, except the tuner, transferring that to the Exploder. Stay tuned.

Since Im not driving my LS this winter, I'm spending money on my gfs new Maxima. So far 15% tint.. and wrapped the roof gloss black.

About 16 degrees here in Kansas City
Replaced the stock front speakers with Pioneer 3-way sounds a little bit better in the afternoon. Last night when I was backing out of the driveway and making a sharp turn "Check Advancetrac" showed in the message center, turned off the car and restarted still there. This morning tried restarting and it's gone. Not sure if this a fluke but could be part of POS engineering on LS electronics. Probably battery related or just too cold.

It could be the wiring to one of the wheel speed sensors. If the wiring is starting to fail, the sharp turn could have moved it just enough to cause a problem. You could try making a couple of sharp turns to see if it happens again. Also, on some cars these codes will be saved in the computer even after they've cleared. The dealer may be able to read the saved code.

It's a nice and warm 35 F here in Norfolk, but it's still too cold to wash the car. I usually take it to one of the automatic car washes where the vacuum and hand dry in the winter. After trying several places, I've found that they leave a lot fewer swirls than anywhere else (including a hand wash where the owner showes pictures bragging about the show cars he's detailed, then returned my car looking like it had been dried with sandpaper).

Finally got done with my front and rear end suspension work. I replaced the front tie rods, sway bar links, ball joints (had a shop pulled the old one and pressed in the new one for me $100) upper control arms, installed eibach lowering springs. Replaced rear sway bar links and installed eibach lowering springs, and still waiting for my rear tie rod kit thru the mail.

Now made an appointment for my wheel alignment, the car's front end is out of allignment very bad, drove the car one block and it's eating the tires outside so bad, I might need to have it towed to the wheel allignment shop, about 10 miles away from my house. What yall think?

I once made the mistake of driving about 10 miles to an alignment shop after replacing some front end parts, and wound up replacing a fairly decent set of tires when I got there as a result and I wasn't even that far out on the alignment. If you're eating the tires noticeably within a single block you may not make it to the tire shop.

Thanks for the great info, I will definitely have it towed then. :):yourock:
