Hello, I have been busy lately and haven't posted much here. First of all, I got married, then few months ago I sold my CL55. Not getting another car for now, but I do have a V12 Mercedes on my mind :). Selling the Benz gave me a little room to take better care of my other cars.

My LS has been doing fantastic, I have had it just over 10 years now and have put nearly 200,000 miles on it myself.

I want to show you guys some of the details of my LS and overall pictures of it.

Last month I decided to replace my Jaguar wooden steering wheel back to the OEM one but I wanted something different. I found a great upholstery shop and had them redo my steering wheel and shift knob in light grey leather to match the seats. I love light color steering wheels and I think it came out fantastic. They repainted the airbag and the back part of the wheel as well. They used OEM Lincoln leather so the color matches perfectly. I am very impressed with the quality of work they did, very stock finish.

Since I have an aftermarket head unit my steering wheel controls never worked, but now they do. I had the remote control from the head unit and my pops integrated it in the steering wheel and wired the power also so there is no battery. Works perfect and looks stock.

I also have homelink installed in the car since mine never came with one.

And some of the lines on these cars are just gorgeous. I love the rear window.

There are actually no speakers on the rear deck, just the grills to let the sub be heard. I think the colors matched perfectly.

Just look at these side lines!

Thank you.

Congrats on the marriage!

Now lets see some pictures of that interior

CONGRATS on your nuptials!!

VERY nice!!! STILL my favorite LS color!

Beautiful car, and with those miles! great job keeping it up.

Yes it's nice to see such a cared for LS still being kept up by the same person for such a long time. Didn't you have tinted windows a while ago? I feel it's really missing them now.

Excellent. This could be a period reference as to what the LS is all about and what is timeless in it's beauty. Excellent photography and the steering wheel is top quality work. Looking forward to 250,000 and maybe even 300,000 miles one day!

Hey Buddy, Glad your doing well!!! Your LS was my inspiration when I first started here. One of a Kind is the only way to describe it!

Have fun car shopping, I know it wont be too long before you find something else!

Hello ... some of the details of my LS and overall pictures of it.

Amazing looking LS HyeLife. Always loved that color ~ someone call perfection and tell it it's finally been beat!

ps: maybe clean the grease off the drivers seat belt, noticeable in pic #9.

Still looking great.

Where is this shop located? They did really good work on the steering wheel, will need to do mine in a few years. I like to wrote down good shop and info of places for future plans.

Artur, congratulations man and all the best!!!!

I can't believe the CL is no more.....but, sounds like there is another silver star badged German product on it's way. V12? Twin Turbos? I am thinking SL/S 65AMG.

Artur - your car looks amazing as usual! Must be nice not having to deal with winter weather.... speaking of which, that exterior temp of 28 threw me for a minute there :slam

I'm catching up with you!... 201,000 miles (20K+/yr). I'm jealous of your location since this many miles with New England winters does start to show on the front of the car. Your car inspired me to get the Vulcans (that and 02LSV8's zeus'), though in chrome. While I started on a headlight project, its been idle for some time now thanks to many house projects. I did get around to chroming my side marker lamps, and I did it in such a way that light still shines through. Someone backed into the front so I'll have to retouch my lower grill, but its painted satin black to match the lower plastic pieces. Sadly got pulled over for no front plate so I had to put it back on... for a little while at least. And I think yours looks good without the tint.

Nice looking LS. It's amazing how good a car can look with a little love and attention. My LS is a newborn baby compared to yours (only ~85,000 mi).

Which Benz are you considering?

Go ahead and grab a CL65. The v12 is a totally different beast, especially in AMG trim.

How the hell do you keep the car running so well??

I mean you are defying the odds. Have you replaced all mechanical/engine stuff besides the block itself?

First of sorry for taking so long to respond everyone. We have a baby boy on the way due in June!

Thank you or all the comments and kind words.

Thank CL65 looks fantastic!

The car has a bit over 240000 miles now and steering wheel is holding up great!

Here is the shop info:

As far as maintaining the car, i did do some work lately on it , like power steering pump and a high pressure hose for the cooling fan pump, O2 sensors and few minor things. I will make a thread soon.
