Long time no see...whats been up?

Ive just been busy working....kinda lost interest in modding the LS. Still have it, though i use the truck a lot more. LS is actually without ac right now, and i think i still need a shift solenoid. But i can still drive her back n forth to work.

And where you at pektel?? Need to speak with you about some cigars.....

Welcome back..NOTHING has been going on... Calender shoot by Oct 6th!

Hi guys I am new to this site , recently got my 06 Ls after trading my Charger R/T I had for 3 years, just wanted to introduce myself to the forum :D 20130913_125206.jpg

wow nice threadjack...anyways well alax ive lost interest in the car and dont see myself spending $1000 on tires to put them on.

Thats a pretty decent excuse... I mean legitimate reason. You wanna sell it as is?.... well fix the a/c and the solenoid and then sell it as is. Hope all has been good for ya sir.

Get some cheap used ones on craigslist, could probably get all 4 for 100-140 bucks, then when you fall in love with her again because of how sexy she looks with those new shoes, you can buy her good tires

I was really hoping this was another "Hey I'm selling my LS" thread. We could use more of those to even out all the maintenance threads since nobody does mods anymore

Welcome!

How about a comparison between the two cars.

Well Robot , I can clearly say I would choose the Ls over the charger , I liked the charger because it was aggressive looking and it did have some power to it, I had minimal problems with the charger only had to change some tie rods because the stock suspension was not as good as it should be for a huge car like that, Ls and charger are both fast cars , the Ls accelerates much quicker and cleaner in the shifting aspect than the charger and handles better, I have raced hemi 300s and chargers and beat them ( not sure if I got lucky or what not but a win is a win) , the Ls stock is a beast and I have not yet modified it but looking forward to it.

Well, I thank you for that. I hope everyone else reads this. I have argued for the LS for quite a while as have some others and got laughed at many times.

No problem man , I did enjoy my Charger for the time I had it though still a great car

What kind of rims?

They are chrome XC's, like alax's but non replica actual volvo oem.

In the long run, the charger will have been more reliable. The LS issues can get stupid and expensive quick. But yes all around the LS feels nimble and faster, although the chargers have more power.

I wouldn't say more reliable than the lincoln , I know that the older lincolns prior to 2004 were defected like crazy but my 2004 and 2006 had no issues what so ever and push then pretty rough ( lucky I guess ) , the mechanic I went to said the chargers had so many flaws but I only encountered minimum while I knw some people who got the worse of it , guess it comes down to how u treat it and if it came defected from the factory from the start and possibly luck if that has to do with anything , I get my parts at a discount so im not too worried

a Dodge is more reliable than...

said no one ever.

The LS has horrible stupid issues, if you still choose to be blind to it like others here then by all means. The LX platform has it flaws, but it doesnt eat coils, destroy its own cooling system, and have a transmission that ****s itself. Theres a reason i bought a second vehicle.

Too many LS's have all the same issues. Im getting tired of them. And my car hasnt even hit 80K miles yet. Wifes LX has had less issues and its at 147K miles.

Wait..you said you're putting them up for sale?
Shoot me a pm! I'd be interested

Maybe. But i think local only i dont want to deal with shipping.
