well rearview mirror snapped off.

To mich bass made my rearview mirror snap off. I guess the metal that holds it broke.
So do I need a whole new mirror or the bracket also?
Its an 02' with compass.

Please help. I'm driving with a dangling mirror and its embarassing :(
 
Too much bass? Hmm I think what likely happened here was this: while applying your make-up in the morning and driving (btw this is very unsafe behavior conducted behind the wheel of a moving vehicle) your favorite Justin Beiber song came on the radio. In sheer excitement you started flailing your arms around in a similar fashion to those inflatable men you see on the side of car dealerships and subsequently knocked the mirror off.

Thanx. So any used mirror on ebay should work? What bout the metal rod that broke?

What metal rod are you talking about.
There's the windshield. There's the metal button bonded to the windshield. And there's the mirror. Are you talking about part of the mirror? That would come with the used replacement mirror.
