Hey guys, I have had issues with my LS for about 5 months now and have not had the money to fix them, so it has sat parked since.

My bike has gotten some ride time needless to say.

Is there anyone in the Seattle area [I am in Redmond] who would be able to assist in resolving these issues?

I have some money to spend, not $65 hourly shop price however.

Car idles roughly; and throws Wrench Light upon foot on the pedal.

I am about to run to go get my codes for my check engine light right now.

I will update then.

Any help would be greatly thoughtful.

Kudos mi amigos.

Edit:

Just got my codes.

P0354 -
P2104 -
P2107 -
P2110 -
P2111 -
P2112 -
P0354 -

Where can I go to check these?

He printed a list of the codes and briefly went over them.

Ignition coil / Throttle sensor

I will be doing this Tuesday. o'Reily said it was $60 per coil.

and I need 6?
Or was the clerk misreading and it was $60 for the pack of 6.
Because I see packs of 6 for $40-60 online.

I am going to start with replacing my ignition coils, and plugs.

Yeah?

I am unskilled at the Art of mechanics.

Only one way to learn ;)

What do you need help with ? reading, wrenches, money ... someone to drive your LS to the garage ?

Seriously, a little self help might be in order ... not much we can do for you from the other side of our keyboards.

Did you replace the coils & plugs already?

Check you codes here - http://www.obd-codes.com/

yes you need to replace all coils and plugs... and yes the parts store is prob $60ea. as online may have off brand for $60 a set, but you roll the dice on the quality/ longevity on those... Im busy the next couple of weekends so I dont think I can make it out there to give you a hand...GL

lol 15.5hr clicking the heels for ya anyhow.

PM'd ya. I am in Kirkland Wa., very close to Redmond. Very versed in all things mechanical on these LS's, as I owned one for 6 years, and did all my own work. Coils are $48 at O'Rielly's, and anywhere from $110-170 for a set of 8, online, but those will take 1-1 1/2 weeks to get. The online ones arent bad. I have used them several times. Have you tried to reset the codes? Have you tried the disconnect the hot side of the battery for about 1/2 hour, then re-connect? Coil codes are always a p030X for the misfiring coil(1-8), if it is just a coil. Sometimes it will be accompanied with a "Misfire detected in first 1000 revs" error code, but I cant remember the code for that...might be the p0354 you got.
The other codes you got are for the Throttle Actuator Control. It could be the coils, and that is a good starting point, as the others here have stated.

oops sounds like you have a v6. No prob. My wife drives an Escape, with the 3.0 Liter Duratec. Same engine, and I service it all the time, including coils, plugs, etc., and so on. Should be a no brainer. PM me, and I can help.
I'm cheep to...:)
