This is pretty much a going price for a complete eaton swap for a C headed car.

Your right, it just didn't look tall enough.

It wouldn’t stop at 3K for me, I can't just throw a blower on it and go. I would have to rebuild the rotating assembly and I'm one of those "While I'm in there" mechanics. It would turn into a 3 year 15K job with my luck. Just makes more sense to buy the crate motor.
