What LED for puddle lights?

Ive been buying LED's here and there and replacing them through out my 04 ls v6. Trying to find a set for the puddle lights. are these the same as step/courtesy lights? I found the lighting chart with the sizes listed but these are not the 194 size. What are you guys using? Thanks

Lincoln probably says that but with the help of a dremel you can change them.

Don't break them open as shown in this thread. Use a dremel and make a clean cut.

How were you supposed to do it? I stuck the screw driver in what looked like a hole to pry it open. Then super glued it back shut as it looked like that's how it was originally attached.

me i cut them with a knif (it s to easy and after that use a glue)
when i get my led up grade

I was looking for that thread earlier. lol

I wish I had bought the 6 LED bulbs. I only got the 2 LED bulbs because I didn't know how much room there would be.

+1 on the dremel. That thread was in my pre-dremel days.

The dremel doesn't make it much easier.

I ended using some pliers to work around the edges and pull the frosted plastic off.

They work fine for me. I soldered a 470 ohm 1/2 watt resistor to each bulb. Turned out great.
