I was cleaning out the car (2002 CE) after a long trip and once I got all the napkins, straws, and condiment packages out of the box, I found a case beneath the owner's manual that I overlooked when we first got the car earlier this month.

It is a set of 8 silver coins (not really coins - they are not round) featuring different years of the Conti. Can anyone spread some light on this find? Are they real silver? Worth anything?

TIA

if they're anything like the Mark VIII CE silver ingots then yes they are real and only come with the CE versions. Good find! Got a picture?

Evidently they are called 'ingots,' not coins. Here is a pic

Sorry about the size, can't figure out how to resize it.

I have a set of 8 silver ingots from when I bought my 1998 Mark VIII Collector's Edition that depicts all of the 8 Mark series. Lincoln mailed them to me after I took possession of the car.
