Bleeding the Hydraulic Fan Pump? Spring in the high pressure line hole?

(big sighs) got everything together THE RIGHT WAY this time. Test drive went great. I never noticed the fan actually pulled air off of the radiator instead of blowing towards the rad. Interesting. I feel like such a moron. I'm a pretty mechanically inclined guy, but when it came to this pump I...

Bleeding the Hydraulic Fan Pump? Spring in the high pressure line hole?

So I found the part in the tiniest little nook or the engine bay. I've gotten lucky. Problem is now I have no idea how it goes back in the port. Does it go valve then spring, or spring first then valve?

For Sale ISO Pressure relief valve off of hydraulic fan pump

I'm in dire need of the pressure relief valve out of the 20mm high pressure line hole in the hydraulic fan pump. Mine was lost during a swap and the reman didn't come with one. If there's anyone local to me in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area that has one on an old pump sitting around I would love to...

Bleeding the Hydraulic Fan Pump? Spring in the high pressure line hole?

If anyone who is reading this has an old pump they can pull the pressure relief valve out of the high pressure line port, I'm a machinist and could reverse engineer this part and make it at work. I just need a part to reverse engineer. I have the spring already. All local and semi-local...

Bleeding the Hydraulic Fan Pump? Spring in the high pressure line hole?

So I realized that I'm missing the nipple piece that goes into the 20 mm high pressure line hole in the pump itself. I have the spring from the old one but there was no nipple. And neither a spring or a nipple on the reman one I bought. I don't know if the nipple came out and I didn't realize it...

Bleeding the Hydraulic Fan Pump? Spring in the high pressure line hole?

So I got a pretty good looking refurb pump from a source I trust. This job was a serious pain in the a**. So I get it all done and together. Put a new serp. belt on it and go take it for a test drive. Well it started to overheat and the fan never even came on at all. Now theres two questions I...

Passenger Rear brake light issue. HELP!!! 2000 LS

It was indeed the bulb. And I totally had a "I'm such an effing dumba$%" moment. When I first started to poke around searching for what it could be all I was turning up was the REM problems. So I guess I got caught up in that fear that I had a major problem on my hands instead of using my common...

Passenger Rear brake light issue. HELP!!! 2000 LS

So I can't seem to find any information on a situation specific to mine so I will post a new thread. It's a 2000 LS 5 speed manual. So on the way home from work today the "burned bulb" warning light came on. I got home and started poking around and its the passenger side brake light. The thing...

2000 LS 3.0 Manual Trans Shifting Issue

This is my first "official post" guys so go easy on me. LOL. So I bought this damn car and it's lucky I love driving it so much or else I would of set it on fire by now with as many problems as I've had with it already in the ONE MONTH I've owned it. But I do really, really love this damn car...

    ANOTHER New guy from Iowa

Hi, my name is Marvin. I reside in Marion, Ia. and I just got myself a 2000 Lincoln LS 3.0 manual transmission. I love the car but after owning only a couple weeks it's already proved to be a pain in the rear. Granted I love the car enough to go through the upkeep and fixing all the things that...
